Book Review

From the Midwest Book Review Biography Shelf:

Synopsis: Life is full of twists and turns, and most people do their best to simply survive. But not Mary Rechkemmer-Meyer. Why survive when you can thrive? Suddenly a single parent, Mary lifted herself up and created the life she wanted for herself (a life of financial, personal, and spiritual success) despite the many obstacles she overcame along her journey that included a devastating cancer diagnosis.

"I Meant It for Good: A Memoir of Dreaming, Visualizing, and Becoming My Authentic Self" shows how to plan, dream, and visualize yourself into the life you want -- life that fulfills you in all six areas of life: spiritual, health & wellness, relationships, emotional, professional, and financial. Life doesn't happen to you, it happens through you, and Mary shows you how in her memoir.

Critique: Elegantly insightful, inspired and inspiring, "I Meant It for Good: A Memoir of Dreaming, Visualizing, and Becoming My Authentic Self" is that rare thing -- a quick and easy read that can affect and improve the quality of the rest of your life. While unreservedly recommended for community library Contemporary American Biography collections, it should be noted for personal reading lists that "I Meant It for Good: A Memoir of Dreaming, Visualizing, and Becoming My Authentic Self" is also readily available in a digital book format (Kindle, $8.99).
